DRAFTSIGHT – How to Create Datum Identifier

In creating fabrication drawing, we often need to create GD&T. One of the common features that we need to show in the drawing would be a Datum Feature.

To start creating a Datum Identifier in DraftSight, we are going to start with a SMARTLEADER.

Here’re are the following steps:

Step 1: Create a SMARTLEADER

Step 2: Select Setting Properly

Step 3: Place Datum Identifier in Drawing

Step 4: Move the Leader to Make It 1-Segment (If required)
