How to borrow a SNL floating license for offline use

On the computer, ensure your SOLIDWORKS/DraftSight programs have been closed. (Not be opened).
In the Windows Search bar/Menu look for “SolidNetWork License Manager Client 20XX”:
Click and open it. You can check current usage/status of licenses in “License Usage” tab first.
To borrow, go to the “License Borrowing” tab in the window:
Choose a date from the calendar button to borrow until (up to 30 days).
To return a license you borrowed before the end date, select the borrowed product item and click “Return”.You must be connected to your SOLIDWORKS license server computer via your network to be able to view and use the licenses, and borrow or return them.
