How to save SOLIDWORKS Design to 3DEXPERIENCE Platform?

Written Instructions:

***Prerequisites:

You or someone in your company must have received and accepted the CLOSA (Client License), which is received via email.

You must be an invited user on the platform and have the 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS Role assigned to you.

Step 1: Preparation

If you have desktop SOLIDWORKS and would like to save SOLIDWORKS Design to 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. Please make sure that you have Collaborative Designer with SOLDIWORKS(UES) License.

Please also make sure that you have logged in to 3DEXPERIECNE and installed Design with SOLIDOWORKS.

Once you have installed Design with SOLIDWORKS and enable 3DEXPERIENCE in SOLDIWORKS, you will able to link to 3DEXPERIECNE and save design to 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.

Step 2: Save Desktop SOLIDWORKS Design to 3DEXPERIENCE Platform

1. Open Desktop SOLIDWORKS
2. SOLIDWORKS Add-in
3. Enable Add-in “3DEXPERIENCE”

4. Login to your 3Dpassport if it pop out

5. Select the Collaborative Space to save your data

6. Click on the 3DEXPERIENCE Icon in task pane

7. Yellow save button means files haven’t been saved to platform; Green save button means files have been saved to platform.

8. Right click on the name of the file -> Click “Save”.
