Missing Help Menu and Quick Access tools

With the update of SOLIDWORKS 2020 Service Pack 3.0, there has been a slight change in the User Interface. This post is to help address what the exact changes are and how to revert some of them back to the older user interface.

Noticeable Changes

First, one will notice that the help menu on the left has been removed and instead replaced by a Question Mark icon on the right.

Note that the content of the menu itself has not changed.

Second, one will notice that the quick access toolbar has shifted position from the top to the left of the Command Manager.

How To Fix and Revert

It is possible to change this position back to the top by going into Tools> Customize and selecting “Show in the Menu Bar”.

You will now find the Quick Access Tools in the previous location.
