  • Learn how to create toolpaths for SOLIDWORKS part configurations
  • Learn how to use 2.5 axis VoluMill for high speed roughing machining
  • Learn the in-depth knowledge from different operation types such as turning, assembly machining and 4/5 axis indexing

COURSE OUTLINE

  • This course introduces the SOLIDWORKS CAM Professional environment, and teaches the fundamentals including how to successfully and efficiently program 2 axis lathe operations, and how to increase programming and machining efficiencies by optimizing toolpath and features.
  • Learn how to program machining operations using 2.5 axis programming approaches, how to avoid fixtures and work holding devices, and how to efficiently utilize the Technology Database.
